Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Growth: Develop and implement growth strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct detailed market research to identify new business opportunities and understand the competitive landscape.
- Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective marketing strategies. Drive the sales process from lead generation to closure.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on business development activities, market trends, and new business opportunities to the senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the accounting or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian accounting and tax services market, with specific knowledge of the Edmonton area.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to drive business success and achieve sales targets.
